Heroine recovered from a car in Chambaghat

Police recovered 3.25 grams of Chitta (heroin) from a car in Chambaaghat during the patrol in the highway. Police have arrested two youths for placing heroin. The accused have been identified as the Deshdoot resident of Silihari, Tehsil Kandaghat and Kamal Chand from dedgharat, Kandaghat.

Superintendent of Police Mohit Chawla has confirmed the arrest. They told that the police had received secret information of heroin smuggling. Based on this, the SIU kept a naka near Chambaghat.

The team searched the car number HP-14D-9135. During this 3.25 gms heroin was recovered. The police have registered a case against both the accused and started investigations. The car has seized.

Superintendent Mohit Chawla said that both the accused will be questioned in connection with heroin smuggling. Where was this heroin being bought and who was to be supplied to it. Information about this will be mobilized. Given the Christmas and New Year, the police have made tight security arrangements across the district.

Patrolling has been increased on the highway. The Superintendent of Police had held a meeting with hotel operators in this regard in Kasauli in the last few days. In it, the full record of the tourists and the suspicion was given to inform the police immediately.
